Amtrak
Services:
- Amtrak's Sunset Limited shuttles riders between Los Angeles, San Antonio and Orlando, Florida along the southern-most route.
- The station is located in North Palm Springs at Indian Avenue and Palm Springs Station Rd., one mile south of Interstate 10.
- There is also a round trip each day on Amtrak California Motor Coach service operating to/from the San Joaquin trains in Bakersfield that terminates in Indio. This route originates in front of Downey Savings and Loan, Hwy 111 and Monroe Street. The buses make stops in Palm Desert and Palm Springs, Beaumont, and San Bernardino on their way to and from the San Joaquin trains in Bakersfield. There is no baggage or package check in at Indio.
