Typically, CVEP hosts a seminar on the second Wednesday of each month as part of our Small Business Forum series. This month, that day happens to fall on a day when we remember one of the greatest tragedies of a generation: September 11. Connecting with and educating people at our workshops is usually the highlight of our month. But this month, we encourage our readers to attend one of the numerous remembrance events happening on 9/11 in Greater Palm Springs. Whatever part of the Coachella Valley you’re in, you will find a meaningful event nearby.

9/11 – Lessons for the Cyber Era

Noted cybersecurity expert and author James McFarlin will provide a unique look at the new, digital battlefield, from a national security perspective. You may have seen McFarlin present at a past CVEP Small Business Forum, during which we discussed Risky Business: Preparing for the Inevitable. Admission to this unique learning event at the Palm Springs Air Museum is free with regular paid museum admission. We suggest you plan to spend the afternoon at the award-winning air museum in addition to attending McFarlin’s talk.

1:00 p.m. The Palm Springs Air Museum is located at 745 N Gene Autry Trail, Palm Springs, California 92262
