Public health officials have called for social distancing measures. Social distancing works based on mathematical principles: the more people that come in contact with one another, the more opportunities for transmission. In accordance with to the CDC Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers to Plan and Respond to Coronavirus Disease, CVEP is taking precautions to protect employees, clients, and other stakeholders.
Current guidance from the CDC includes:
- Allowing flexible worksites, telecommuting and flexible work hours to increase physical distance among employees
- Using other methods of minimizing exposure between employees, and between employees and the public
- Postponing or canceling large work-related meetings or events
The Coronavirus situation is changing by the hour and we are closely monitoring what these changes mean for businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. We have cancelled upcoming meetings and workshops until further notice, and although we have temporarily stopped meeting face-to-face at our physical locations, we are on the job and available.
